I am an artist working in oils (for now). I make studies of the qualities light using various subjects that interest me, especially animals, landscapes and still lifes. Art is a lifetime journey.

First Catch
This is a beautiful spot on Pigeon Lake in the Kawartha lakes region of Ontario. I'm enjoy painting light and reflections in water, especially in the early morning. 6x8" Oil on Raymar cotton panel
I am a self taught artist, having a background as a sign painter and taken a number of courses in fine art in the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia and in Toronto. In fall 2007, I participated in a workshop given by the wonderful equine artist, Valerie Hinz.
My favorite subjects are horses and other animals, but also landscapes and still life. I am facinated by light and colour.
