Backdoor Sunrise 1

I have done a few small back door sunrise paintings. I sometimes notice (before my coffee!) the miracle happening in the sky when I am letting my dog out in the morning. I did 3 larger versions of the 6x6" paintings on 16x16" canvas. I thought I needed some larger paintings for drama at the art show I was recently in.

Beautiful light in the sky Catherine...I am reminded of some works of the Hudson River School, as well as old masters' works...Heavenly!
