I am an artist working in oils (for now). I make studies of the qualities light using various subjects that interest me, especially animals, landscapes and still lifes. Art is a lifetime journey.

Borderline
This is this weeks submission for a blog presented by Karin Jurick, in which Karin posts a photo to www.differentstrokesfromdifferentfolks.blogspot.com and artists are invited to paint their interpretations. It's a stroke of brilliance!
I am a self taught artist, having a background as a sign painter and taken a number of courses in fine art in the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia and in Toronto. In fall 2007, I participated in a workshop given by the wonderful equine artist, Valerie Hinz.
My favorite subjects are horses and other animals, but also landscapes and still life. I am facinated by light and colour.

Cool painting... I really like the colours in your sky in 'Morning View from the Back Door'
