Some of the most spectacular fall colours come from sumac trees. I see them in the fields where I walk dogs, and they at their peak right now. I tried to bring some sumac leaves to my studio, but they didn't last, so I photographed some trees to paint instead.

Oh, you take the most gorgeous pictures, too. I've tried getting fall colour shots, they never look that good.
